This is certainly one of the nicest conversions anywhere.  Everything in its place and a place for everything.
It was converted by Al in 1997.

1972 Porsche 914, 1400 kg with 144 volt made up of 24 x 12 v Optima YT sealed AGM's.  It uses and Advanced DC motor with 53 HP peak and an Auburn 600A liquid cooled controller.  Top speed is 120 kph and range is 50-80 km.
